SANITATION : CHIEF TOM CALLS FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN THIS MONTH'S ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION EXERCISE, CHARGES COUNCILLORS TO ENSURE A THOROUGH INSPECTION AT THEIR RESPECTIVE WARDS.

The Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, High Chief Tom Aliezi, has charged the Councillors of Emohua Local Government Area to fully monitor and participate in this month's Rivers State environmental sanitation exercise billed to hold tomorrow Saturday 28th July 2018 in their respective wards, as part of their oversight functions.

He advised residents and business operators within the Local Government Area to use the period of the sanitation exercise to clean their environments.

In a Statement, the Chief Security officer of Emohua Local Government assured that the council Authority in synergy with security agencies will be monitoring the level of compliance by Motorists and Business operatives within the Local Government Area, and will not hesitate to arrest and prosecute anyone found guilty of Rivers State Environmental Sanitation Law.

He urged, Traditional Rulers, Community Chiefs, CDC s' and Youth Leaders to mobilize members of their respective Communities to fully participate in the exercise, in order to have a clean and healthy environment.
