Committed to restoring electricity in parts of Emohua and Ikwerre Local Government Areas that have suffered power outage for over a year, before the emergence of the present administration, as a result of the activities of criminals who vandalises electricity installations along the Ahoada - Elele Axis of East-West Road, the Executive Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, High Chief Tom Aliezi, and his Ikwerre Local Government Counterpart, Engr. Samuel Nwanosike has again met with the management of Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company to ensure that the affected communities are given electricity before the festive period.
The meeting which took place at the Port Harcourt head office of PHED in Moscow Road Port Harcourt was with the General Manager Commercial of PHED and is expected to continue tomorrow Tuesday with Rivers State Commissioner for Power as the representative of Rivers State Government.
